Day 30~ A Motto or Philosophy

Wow! Last day of the challenge! Here is a Bible verse I use as my motto...hope this encourages you. :)

Day 29~ Hopes, Dreams, and Plans You Have For the Next 365 Days

For this next year, my plans are to continue improving on the harp and start high school. My dream for the next year are to make it into Bay Youth Symphony Orchestra, and my hope is that by this time next year, I will have grown so much more in knowing Jesus, and having a relationship with Him.

Day 28~ A Scar You Have and It's Story

I have two coils in my heart. Yep, you read that right....two coils! When I was a baby, I had a hole in my heart that was keeping me in a lot of pain. I had heart surgery to close it up and that is why I have two coils.

Day 27~ A Physical Feature You Love

I'm not exactly sure what this means....whether a character trait about yourself or something about your body or what? So I'm going to do a character trait. :P What I really love about myself is how I always find just about everything in life funny or at least happy. I am pretty much always happy, and I love to make others happy! :)

Day 26~ A Childhood Memory

One VERY special memory I have is, well..it starts when I was two years old, but was an on-going story.
When I was two, I was in with my grandparents in a toy store and fell in love with a puppy dog. It was small, white, and fluffy. I begged them to get it for me, which they did, and I slept with it EVERY night. Skip forward about 3 years....to Christmas Day. I brought "Puppy" downstairs to see all my presents. I set him on a chair, and promptly forgot about him. I didn't even think about him that night, because I had received a new doll that I was sooo excited about. The next day, I discovered I couldn't find him anywhere! I asked my parents to help me....and we basically tore our house apart looking. I could not find him! Finally, my parents figured out that he must have gotten thrown away with the Christmas wrapping....as they remembered that the chair I put him on was they place the put all the trash. I was so heartbroken! Skip forward another year...I still had not found him, but had gotten over it. Then..........one day, after Thursday ballet class, my mom, Olivia and I had to stop by Farm Fresh to get something for dinner. When we where checking out, I noticed this table of toys close by. My mom let Olivia and I go play. There were stuffed Webkins, a few dolls, and...........puppy!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so incredible! There were only five or six of them in a small pile. I KNEW that it was the same brand, the same fluffy white fur, the same little eyes looking at me......I started crying, and took one to my mom. Of course she knew how much this meant to me, and bought him for me. I cried all the way home! I was so happy! I know it seems silly, but I think God had planned that, because I have NEVER seen those puppies ANYWHERE since that day...and I had never seen them there before! I am still encouraged that He really cares about the littlest things....because He LOVES to see us happy!

Day 25~ A Recipe

Well, here is the recipe for the Fettuccine Alfredo that I said I would share, again, this is my own creation, so try it and tell me what you think.

2 boxes of Fettuccine
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 pack of Sweet Petite Baby Carrots (very important that it is these kinds of carrots)
2 cups cooked peas
2 cloves garlic
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
---------------------------------------------
1. Cook the Fettuccine
2. Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat
3. Add chopped carrots and garlic
4. Saute till carrots are fully marinated in butter, but not soft
5. Add peas, heavy whipping cream and salt
6. Stir in cheese till melted
7. Pour over Fettuccine and serve right away
8. Enjoy!
serves 8-10 people

Day 24~ A Movie No One Would Expect You to Love

I think this would have to be "The Avengers". The only action movies I had really ever watched before were "The Lord of the Rings", and I knew those were fantasy. I was very nervous to watch Avengers because I knew that in was in real life and very realistic. But I love it!!!!!!!!! It is such a cool movie.

Day 23~ A Way in Which You Want To Be Remembered

How I would like to be remembered would be that first and foremost, loved my Lord Jesus and served till the end of my days, and was a kind person who always was looking for ways to help people. I love this challenge because when thinking about how to be remembered...it motivates me to keep reaching for the goals and dreams I have set in place.

Day 21~ Something You Know You Do Differently Than Most People

One thing I know I do different is that I like to email famous people and get to know them. For example, on Day 3, I shared my favorite books series...The Epic Order of the Seven. I decided that I wanted to email Mrs Jenny L. Cote (the author) and tell her how much I loved her books. Well, we started emailing back and forth and I found out that she actually grew up here! She was able to come from Georgia and do a workshop last April, and again last October. She even made a video for me at my Blessing Ceremony!

Day 20~ A Hobby of Yours

One hobby of mine is that I have lots of fun putting music videos together! I use Windows Live Movie Maker, and I have made lots of fun videos. Here are a few.....

Day 19~ A Talent of Yours

I have listed in my profile all the things I love to do...but one thing I didn't mention is that I love to cook! I have made some very yummy dishes, including a original recipe I made up, which is a twist on Fettuccine Alfredo. Maybe I'll share the recipe on Day 25. :)

Day 18~ A Day When You Felt Passionate and Alive

I would have to say that this would be the time when I got saved. I was eleven years old, and my dad was doing Shabbat. I had been frustrated and mean all day, and I didn't know why. When my dad came to me to give me the cup and the bread, I broke down and cried, and when he washed my feet, I asked if we could go upstairs. My mom and dad went with me to their room, and I prayed with them and got saved. I felt so much better! I knew that Jesus had come into my heart!

I have never really studied art...so I decided to show the Mona Lisa. It is very famous so, enjoy!

Day 16~ A Song that Makes You Cry

The song that makes me cry every time I hear it is from "The Christmas Shoes". It is a wonderful movie, and the song at the end is so touching.

Day 15~A Person You Admire

This would have to be my father. I love him SO much and he is the number one influence in my life that I look up to. I admire him because he is patient (something I'm still in the process of learning) and is full of grace but at the same time he is full of truth. I love you Daddy!

Day 14~ A Vacation You Would Like to Take

A dream vacation I would LOVE to take would be to visit Europe. I would love to see all the historic sites like Big Ben, Notre Dame, The Coliseum, the Eiffel Tower and many others.

Day 6~A Moment You Wish You Could Relive

This would probably be the moment when I got my first harp. It was Christmas Day, 2009, and I had received what I thought were all my gifts. Then my daddy told everyone to close their eyes, and then he brought down my harp! I was so excited! I would like to relive that day, but I am so grateful because that was the day I started a new chapter in my life.

I have never really thought about a favorite quote, but this got me thinking. This quote is by Helen Keller, who, as we all know, was blind and deaf. When you keep that in mind, this quote is truly inspiring.

Day 4~ A Favorite Television Program

I don't watch TV, so I only get a chance to watch shows if we buy the season, or on YouTube. But my favorite show that I've seen is "19 Kids and Counting" a show about the Duggar family. They have nineteen children and two grandchildren. If you haven't heard about them... I recommend that you look them up. They are so cool!

Day 3~A Favorite Book

Well, as my blog title indicates, I LOVE to read! I am always trying to find a new book.
Since I really can't say I that I have a favorite book.... I do have a favorite series. It is called "The Epic Order of the Seven" and it is the best! Day 2~A Favorite Movie

Without a shadow of a doubt, my new favorite movie of all is Les Miserables. I love this movie! The music, the acting, the actors, everything! If you have not seen this movie, I highly recommend it.
